The aforementioned questions were posed to obtain the detailed information from subjects on their experience of using internet shopping. The questions posed in the course of the interview helped to identify reasons why people prefer internet shopping. In such a way, the study benefited from the use of the method of interviews because the questions posed in the course of interviews helped to reveal the difference between conventional shopping and internet shopping. In such a way, interviews helped to obtains responses to key questions concerning the problem under the study.
Questions and responses proved to be effective because they contributed to reveal answers to key questions concerning the problem of the study. Each respondent gave specific answers, according to the personal opinion of each subject. Therefore, the interviewee could reveal the impact of internet shopping on his or her customer behavior and choices.
The interview worked effectively because all subjects participated in the study benevolently and they responded sincerely. In such a way, interviews helped to identify the attitude of respondents to the internet shopping and the behavior of customers in relation to the internet shopping and under the impact of the internet shopping. In fact, interviews were effective because the researcher obtained diverse responses and different views on the problem of internet shopping on the customer behavior and choices. In such a way, the researcher obtained diverse views and opinions, which helped to view the problem of internet shopping from different perspectives. For instance, some respondents argued that they use internet shopping regularly, while others do it occasionally, from time to time. At the same time, some respondents enjoy internet shopping, while others prefer conventional shopping, although the number of respondents, who prefer conventional shopping is lower, compared to the number of respondents, who like internet shopping.
In this regard, specialists (Newel, 2001) believe interviews to be very efficient because of the importance of studying specific opinions and views of subjects. On the other hand, specialists (Breneman, D. W. & Taylor, 1996) warn that interviews can raise the problem of the subjectivity of findings. In such a way, interviews are quite effective but they have both strengths and weaknesses. Generally speaking about strange and weakness, it is possible to define the diversity of views on the problem of the study as the major strengths of interviews, while subjectivity is the major weakness of interviews. Nevertheless, interviews are effective in terms of the study of the problem of internet shopping and its impact on the customer behavior and choices. In fact, the study benefited from using interviews because the personal opinion of subjects was very important.
Questionnaire
Objectives of the questionnaire were to obtain basic information on the development of internet shopping, its popularity and impact on the customer behavior and choices. In this regard, objectives of the questionnaire were similar to objectives of interviews since they focused on reaching the purpose of the study. In such a way, questionnaire helped to identify key issues related to the topic of the study and to reveal general trends in the customers’ attitude and views on internet shopping and how internet shopping influences their behavior and choices.
The method of questionnaire includes the set of questions with possible options, which respondents have to choose. Respondents are supposed to choose the best option that matches their opinion or behavior the most. In such a way, it is possible to trace key trends in the customer behavior of subjects and to reveal how they are vulnerable to the impact of internet shopping.
The questionnaire was conducted online. The situation was friendly in relation to subjects because they were relaxed and had plenty of time to respond to questions posed in the course of the questionnaire. They received questionnaires via e-mail and responded each question. They had one day to respond to the questions and to send them back to the researcher. In such a way, all responses were collected in the electronic form.
The suitability of the method is high because the questionnaire provides the researcher with more precise information compared to interviews because respondents had to respond to specific questions and they had to select options offered by the researcher to obtain the specific information.
